- Cataloguing &

Functions

To examine existing bibliographic standards and improve upon
them.

To develop bibliographic standards to enable effective
resource sharing among members.

To establish and maintain a Union Catalogue and Union list of
Serials

To carry out all other activities to improve and strengthen
bibliographic services in the consortium.

To set service provision standards and identify key
performance indicators for effective library services.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING
- Information Literacy, Public Relations, Advocacy, Marketing

Functions:

To market the consortium in order to increase membership.

To carry out the role of academic & research libraries as
partners in teaching, learning and research.

To lobby for funds and fund raise for the Consortium.
INFORMATION AND
COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY - Software, Hardware, ICT Infrastrcture

Functions

To advice on appropriate hardware to be used by members.

To assist members to create on line catalogues

To evaluate and provide advice members on appropriate
software to use

To constantly update members on current trends in Information
and Communication Technology.
TRAINING AND HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT
